Emergency – Immediately call 760-433-3763
Mission Animal & Bird Hospital offers fully staffed emergency services and critical care support, after hours, during the week, as well as on weekends and holidays! As of 9/1/12, we provide support for you and your pet 24-hours a day, seven days a week.
Mission Animal & Bird Hospital continues to have regular office hours from 7am to 7pm on Monday through Friday and 8am to 4pm on weekends. Our emergency service is available for urgent care at all other times. We also welcome pets who are patients of other veterinary hospitals so please mention our new emergency service to your friends, neighbors and family members. For any of your pet care needs, please call us at 760-433-3763 or stop in. We are available for questions and tours at any time during regular business hours.
As Oceanside’s only twenty four hour veterinary hospital, the benefits to you and your pet are numerous:
Our staff knows you and your pet’s needs:
You will have the peace of mind that your pet’s regular doctors, nurses and medical records are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Regardless of the time of day or night, your pet will receive the same excellent, compassionate care that you have come to expect at Mission Animal & Bird Hospital. There is no need to travel to another emergency hospital to see doctors who are not familiar with you, your pet and your pet’s medical history.
Continuity of care is good for the healing animal:
With our after hours emergency services, your pet’s care will continue at our state of the art facility around the clock. Discharge will only occur when it is best for your pet and your schedule.
With many emergency veterinary hospitals, you will be required to pick up your ill or injured pet before 9am and then transport him or her to a regular veterinary hospital for continued day time care. This is often not good for your pet nor for your schedule. Also, you incur an additional Office Visits/Exam Fee when you follow up with your regular daytime veterinary hospital.
No hidden fees or surcharges:
Almost all emergency veterinary hospitals charge an after hours office visit fee plus an additional surcharge on almost all other services. There are no additional surcharges for our services after hours. The fees are the same as our services performed during regular business hours.
“We are excited to offer emergency and critical care to the pets of Oceanside and the surrounding community. Our clients can have peace of mind knowing MABH can help their pet, both day and night, should an urgent matter arise. Our compassionate, bright and energetic overnight staff will provide the same excellent care our clients are accustomed to.”
